Los Angeles Lakers Streaming Guide — Where to Watch Every Game

Lakers games are split across Spectrum SportsNet LA, ESPN, TNT, and ABC for primetime. NBA League Pass for out-of-market viewers. The full bar-side streaming guide.

The Lakers are the league’s most televised team and have been since the Showtime era. Spectrum SportsNet LA holds the local rights and runs the in-market broadcast — every Lakers home game and most road games stream on Spectrum’s Los Angeles RSN. That’s the core of any Lakers fan’s setup if you live in Southern California. National doubleheaders kick the broadcast over to ESPN, TNT, or ABC depending on the week, and the playoffs land on ABC and TNT exclusively.

The bar regular’s setup is messier than a single subscription. ESPN’s NBA package runs Wednesday and Friday nights. TNT runs Tuesday and Thursday — the Inside the NBA studio with Charles, Kenny, and Shaq is appointment viewing for the late-evening crowd. ABC takes the Saturday primetime fixture, usually a Lakers, Celtics, or Warriors marquee game. NBA on Christmas Day usually features the Lakers in the headline window. League Pass picks up everything else for out-of-market viewers — a $14.99 monthly add-on or $99.99 for the full season.

For live football fixtures see the Premier League guide. Lakers basketball coverage doesn’t include the soccer fixture widget.

Where every Lakers game streams stateside

Local market (LA) — Spectrum SportsNet LA. Cable subscription required if you’re inside the LA Designated Market Area. Direct TV, AT&T U-verse, and the Spectrum cable bundle all carry it. YouTube TV doesn’t carry SportsNet LA. FuboTV doesn’t either. The local market rules are restrictive.

National TV doubleheaders — ESPN (Wednesday, Friday), TNT (Tuesday, Thursday), ABC (Saturday primetime, Sunday), NBA on Christmas Day. Free over the air for ABC, cable or streaming-cable bundle for ESPN and TNT.

NBA League Pass ($14.99 a month or $99.99 for the season. Out-of-market only) if you’re in LA, the Lakers are blacked out on League Pass during the local Spectrum SportsNet broadcast window. League Pass Premium adds in-arena audio and replays.

Playoffs — TNT and ABC for the early rounds, ABC for the Finals. TNT loses NBA rights starting 2025-26 in favour of Amazon Prime Video and NBC Peacock taking over national rights. The Lakers’ 2026 playoff coverage will look different from 2025.

Lakers Pass (single-team League Pass) — $19.99 a month for Lakers-only out-of-market. Useful if you’re a Lakers fan in Boston, Miami, or anywhere outside LA.

The 2025 NBA rights shift

Starting with the 2025-26 season, the NBA’s national TV deal moved to a three-network structure: ESPN/ABC, NBC Peacock, and Amazon Prime Video. TNT lost the rights they’d held for nearly four decades. The Inside the NBA studio show survived — it’s now licensed to ESPN and airs as a TNT-produced show on ESPN’s air. The transition reshaped where Lakers national games land.

NBC Peacock takes the Sunday night and Tuesday night NBA windows. Amazon Prime Video takes Friday night and the new Saturday primetime slot. ESPN/ABC retains the Christmas Day slate, the playoffs, and the Finals. The Lakers’ national appearances are now spread across three streaming services plus broadcast — no single subscription covers a full Lakers national schedule.

What it costs

If you live in LA, the Spectrum cable subscription is the path of least resistance — roughly $90-120 a month with the sports tier. Out-of-market, the bar-friendly setup is NBA League Pass at $99.99 for the season ($14.99 monthly) plus whatever cable or YouTube TV bundle covers ESPN and ABC. Add Peacock Premium at $7.99 and Amazon Prime at $14.99 if you want every NBC and Amazon Lakers national fixture. That’s roughly $35-40 a month for full Lakers coverage outside LA.
